ICS Training
Incident Command System
Initially developed to address problems of inter-agency responses to wildfires in California, the Incident Command System (ICS) has been adopted as the global standard in emergency management practice.
At Global, our experienced trainers teach the fundamentals of ICS while improving on evidence-based deficiencies through professional perspectives that favour real-time practice and real-world scenarios.
Features
Expert Trainers
Global trainers are approved nationally and globally by ICS Canada, the Canadian Interagency Forest Fire Centre, Emergency Management Alberta, and the Interagency Emergency Preparedness Council of British Columbia.
Extensive Real-World Experience
Having been involved in crucial response positions such as Incident Commander, Operations Section Chief, Planning Section Chief, Task Force Leader and Emergency Operations Centre Director, Global leaders understand how emergencies unfold in real-time.
Exceeding Curriculum Standards
The Global ICS curriculum adheres to Canadian and US national standards, though we strive to exceed these standards by utilizing enhanced models for learning and reality-based training progressions.
